Ok. This is simple.
Post here if you don't want to deal with the Signless. So far I have avoided having him use text in RPs but, that time is soon coming to an end. Soon he will be typing out messages THAT LOOK LIKE THIS.

If you don't want to deal with that, please let me know.

Setting: Alternia is a nightmarish hellscape of a world you would expect from a horror movie. Its people live only during the night, as none but a rare few can stand the blistering Alternian sun and if the sun didn't keep them from living nocturnally, the zombified corpses of the dominant species, trolls, would. Alternia has two moons orbiting it; one green and one a purplish pink. There is an ancient Alternian legend of a man who lives on the green moon, but no one has ever been able to prove it despite the trolls having spread beyond their home planet. There are two major groups of life forms on Alternia, the trolls and the Lusus.

Trolls are a humanoid bipedal species: one head, two arms, two legs, two eyes, etc. Unlike humans they have grey skin, only have black hair naturally, candy corn colored horns with a shape unique to each troll, and an array of blood colors. Trolls must be much tougher than an average human just to survive on Alternia since they seem to believe in an almost militant Darwinian philosophy which involves killing the weak, crippled, and many others that their society would consider sub par. The trolls are birthed by a vast mother grub as grubs themselves. They then go through a series of trials to see who are worthy just to grow up and pupate. They are then chosen by a Lusus who will raise them after they pupate and until they reach adulthood and leave the planet. A troll's position in society is decided by their blood color, troll blood running along the color spectrum with red being the lowest and purple being the highest. Those of purple blood are generally aquatic and are considered the aristocracy while those with bright red blood are considered mutants and sentenced to death once their blood color is discovered. This generally doesn't take long as trolls tend to advertise their blood color on the symbol that adorns their clothing and the text color they use in their apparently standard chat client, Trollian. Besides social rank there is one other connection between a troll's blood and how they act. Trolls of the lower colors are more likely to manifest psychic abilities while those higher on the spectrum are more resistant to psychic abilities. These powers range from the ability to manipulate the bodies of other trolls, telekinesis, talking to animals, and hearing the voices of the dead. Blood color also dictates a troll's lifespan; a maroon blood generally living for two dozen sweeps while the Empress of the Alternian Empire was born back when the species achieved sentience. Alternia is inhabited only by the trolls who aren't yet considered adults, thanks to a revolution that took palce earlier in the species' history. The twelve trolls of the main plot line being only 6 solar sweeps which is comparable to a 13 year old human.

The Lusus Naturae, or freaks of nature, are the animals of Alternia and raise the young trolls till adulthood. They come in a wide variety, from monstrous crabs to bull like fairies, from eldritch abominations to large cats, from cow centaurs to dragons. The list of odd creatures goes on and on. Besides blood color, as a Lusus will share its troll's blood color, it is unknown what makes a Lusus choose their troll. Oddly enough, a troll and Lusus will generally share some physical characteristics. There are no seen cases of a troll having more than one Lusii or a single Lusus raising more than one Troll. The most important Lusus on Alternia is the Mother Grub as it is the vehicle through which the troll species continues itself. It takes genetic samples from troll couples, which are delivered by a drone whose sole purpose is to carry around buckets to be filled with genetic samples from the couples. It then takes all the samples and mixes them into an incestuous slurry. The next generation is then born, getting traits at random from these samples. If the buckets are not filled when the drone makes its rounds then the it kills the offending trolls.

It is important to note that trolls have two kinds of romance and that both kinds are divided into two subcategories, all four of these subcatagories referred to as the quadrants. There are the two red romance quadrants, the type of romance ruled by affection, and two black romance quadrants, the type of affection ruled by hatred. In red romance you have a matesprit and a moirail. A matesprit is the classical lover as humans have while a moirail is more equatable to a best friend. In black romance you have a kismesis and an auspistice. A kismesis is just like a matesprit, only the defining emotion is hate instead of love. An auspistice is the most complicated quadrant as it involves three people. Now the person who is actually the auspistice is a person who keeps two trolls who hate eachother from becoming kismesis if such a relationship already exists for the other two trolls involved. The drone only comes for genetic material from matepsrites and kismesis.

Despite the brutal nature of troll society and customs, they are a space-faring race. They have quite the infrastructure, to the point that a chat client used by young trolls can communicate across time. Young trolls are also given, at some point before their 6th sweep, drones and the materials to build a complex home or hive for themselves and their Lusii to live in. They also appear to be a very intelligent race, two of the twelve trolls from canon showing the ability to build complex robots and make complex programs tied into the very lifespan of their universe without assistance. Yet oddly, their computers are organic as are their games; FLARP being a good example as it uses what appear to be bats to project holograms of monsters to fight. There are apparently examples of magic in their history, but most trolls think magic is fictional.

Another thing believed fiction is the aformentioned man on the green moon. Hidden on their moon is a being called Doc Scratch. He is a first guardian, a near omniscentient and omnipotent being born via time shenanigans to oversee the planet so that it fufills its ultimate purpose. In this case, it is Alternia's ultimate purpose to give birth to 12 trolls who will play the game SGRUB and end their universe to make another aswell as free his master. As such, he has been giving the trolls of Alternia small pushes in the right direction so as to cause what is necessary for all of this to happen.

Another supposedly fictional part of troll society is the concept of an Ancestor. Supposedly all trolls have an ancestor who forms the majority of their genetic material and shares the sign that adorns their clothing. They are to try to emulate and surpass their ancestor's accomplishments, but mostly only highbloods believe in them. Whether these are real or not for the majority of troll kind is unknown, but for the 12 trolls who were to play SGRUB it was very real. Each had one who played an important part of troll society; two being revolutionaries during different points in history and one being the empress for all of troll history. However, the connection between the 12 trolls and those who would play SGRUB, is even greater than most of them could imagine. In what can only be described as the a previous incarnation of their universe, since time doesn't really apply when you somehow reset a universe, the position of the 12 ancestors and the 12 kids were reversed. It was the ancestors as children themselves who played SGRUB. Sadly, they were too soft as a species and realized they would be unable to win. In desperation they initiated The Scratch, an act which reset their universe, on the condition that they would not be the ones to play that time. Also, due to the way that all people connected to SGRUB are created, it is revealed that the ancestors and players who share blood are in fact clones of one another rather than literal ancestors and descendants. This is very important for The Signless and his descendant, Karkat, as they are both anomalies in their society thanks to their blood and, if not for The Signless coming first and gathering a following which revered him and his blood, Karkat would have been doomed and never even survived long enough to play SGRUB.

There is one major part of the troll world that needs to be touched upon. It is a game called SGRUB and it is a lie. Its code came from a set of ruins descovered by one of the twelve and then programmed by another. The game then rains meteors down upon Alternia, wiping out all life upon it while the twelve trolls are transported to another dimension known as the Incisphere. In this game is an element known as a Scratch that is employeed when a scession goes wrong and can no longer be won. What the twelve do not know is that troll kind has played SGRUB once before. However, the previous players failed and activated a Scratch which reset their universe and forced them to forget. Those previous players would come to be the ancestors of the heroes who would play it in the new universe; a much cruel and more barbaric universe. Yes, the trolls of the pre-Scratch universe were quite peaceful and kind. A fact that, through some twist of fate, one ancestor came to recall.

Personality: If a troll is supposed to be a bloodthirsty, well oiled, killing machine with a strict belief in the hemospectrum, then The Signless is the example most would show to scare a young troll straight. He was compassionate, kind, and treated all trolls equally no matter their placement on the hemospectrum. There are three causes that could be given as to why The Signless was so against troll society. The first could be that, rather than raised by a lusus, he was instead raised by a jade blooded troll named the Dolorosa since no lusus would have him. Another is that he was the only candy red blood in history to that point and was therefore not even considered a part of the hemospectrum. The third and strongest reason were his visions. Troll society had existed once before as a place where trolls were peaceful and didn't judge one based on blood. Then the universe reset, bringing with it Doc Scratch who pushed the trolls to their current violent mindset. The only problem was, The Signless had visions of this old world that drove him.

Through his young life he was raised by The Dolorosa and told her of his visions. The fact The Signless was raised by The Dolorosa is quite odd in troll society. Usually a young troll is raised by a lusus, but this did not matter to The Signless once he realized. The Dolorosa had raised him and, in doing so, disobeyed troll society. He viewed her as a human would view their mother and may have called her such due to The Dolorosa's connection to the Lusus species known as the Mother Grub. It can also be assumed that she helped encourage him in his telling and sharing of this visions, only strengthening the bond between the two. Sometime over these developmental years he decided to follow these visions and vowed to make Alternia like the one that existed in his mind. He was no fool, the Signless spoke his beliefs and arguements intelligently and only to those who would be sympathetic. Slowly, he raised a following with three other trolls as his most trusted. The Dolorosa, The Disciple, and The Ψiioniic were those three and of them The Signless was closet to the Disciple as she was the love of his life. Trolls would come to say that their love went beyond the four quadrants, but that was likely just hyperbole. The Ψiioniic and The Signless were close as well. The Ψiioniic had been inspired by the message of peace to escape from his slavery and join The Signless' group in spreading the word. The two grew to be close friends as their descendants did, close enough that The Ψiioniic was part of The Signless inner circle. To his other followers and believers The Signless was a mentor and friend, listening to their troubles and giving advice based upon what he felt was right.

No matter how careful he was though, there came the day that they were discovered and that the aristocracy decided to make an example of him. The Signless was placed upon the Imperial Flogging Jut and beaten before a crowd. He was beaten, cut, shot with a single arrow, possibly given the worst wedgie in all of paradox space if his pants are any sign, and, worst of all, his wrists were clasped in glowing hot irons. It was over for him and as he endured these tortures all the compassion he held for his people turned into an angry red rage. The Signless' last act on Alternia was to scream a single word. A word so loud and powerful that it wove itself into the fabric of his universe. A scream so primal that his followers would compare it to the universe killing sound a horrorterror could make. They referred to it as The Vast Expletive.

Were he to survived his torture after that moment, The Signless would without doubt experience some change, although he would not want to. He'd lived his life as a troll preaching peace and tolerance, but that moment when his compassion turned to rage would have left a scar of anger in him. Although he would still believe in peace, his thoughts and decisions would always be tinged with that small hatred for his people; no matter how much he wanted to deny it. He would grow a temper similar to that of his descendant and, perhaps, lose some of the hope and belief in his own message.

Abilities, Weaknesses, and Power Limitation Suggestions:
As a troll, The Signless is stronger, faster, more resillient, and taller than the average human counterpart. However, he is never shown to use a weapon in canon so any prowess would likely be in hand to combat. While wanting change it is likely The Signless was able to fight was a basic matter of survival and that the discovery of his teachings lead to a sectarian war.One could assume he may have used sickles since his descendant does, but it is unlikely.

The one special thing The Signless has going for him are his visions. Memories from the pre-scratch session of SGRUB that he and the other ancestors played that slowly are seeping into his mind.

Samples ;
Log Sample:
Although he had hopes, such high hopes, The Signless knew that he would one day be found out. So there he marched to the Impereal Flogging Jut as the three trolls closest to him were forced to watch. Oddly, he felt no fear as he approached his doom. What he did feel was disappointment in himself and in his people. Killing him, he could forgive, but they would punish those he loved while none of this was his fault. WIth a grunt he felt his Righteous Leggings pulled up to his chest, surely a final shot at his pride from the subjugglator leading him. A sizzle filled the air as the shackles locked around his wrists, burning the flesh as a final blow was given to him from the blue blood weilding a bow via an arrow lodging itself in his side.

They wanted him to beg, he knew they wanted him to act like a scared wriggler, but he would not. He could not. The Signless felt himself fading fast and his mind could only focus on those who sold him out and on those who would hurt The Dolorosa, The Disciple, and The Ψiioniic; the three trolls who meant the most to him. In that moment a bubbling and burning came from his core, an emotion that was so foreign to that speaker of peace and equality that he had no idea how to hold it back at all. In that moment, all of his love and compassion for his people twisted and warped into the blackest and purest disgust. Unable to hold back any further, he let it all out. "FUCK!"

The scream lasted all of his final moments, the loudest sound he or any other troll may ever make. Or, it would have been his final moments. In his rage he hardly felt his stomach bottom out and the world fade from around him. After a moment or two the world came back around him, only now a scrapyard and his scream echoed out into this new location before he lost conciousness and the drones came to heal the new arrival.

Network Sample:

[The feed opens to a face that seems to be fighting with his emotions. A look very similar to a person trying to hide their anger or to one trying to hide their fear. It is a grey face with nubby horns and an adult face with eyes aged for at least two lifetimes. Finally, he seems to settle upon a weak smile.]

Whoever it is that has saved me, I must thank you. However, I must ask where it is my friends are. Surely if you saved me, they must be here as well.

[His voice is growing frantic and a bit angry.]

The Disciple, The Dolorosa, or The Ψiioniic. If you have not saved all of them I swear . . . I swear THAT I WILL FIND YOU! I WILL FIND YOU NOOKSUCKER AND I WILL MAKE MY WOUNDS SEEM TRIVIAL!

[For the next minute the feed is simply this troll breaking heavily as he tries to regain composure.]

I am The Signless and I am sorry for that. I am not a violent troll, but you must have seen the state I was in when found. I . . . I am not in full control of my emotions at the moment.
